Early in 2020 a convoy of 4 vehicles along with 14 Estela’s set off on the long journey to our new home in the beautiful central region of Portugal,in a little village called Pedrógão de São Pedro,which is close to the town of Penamacor in the region of Castelo Branco.It took 5 days to complete the journey driving through France & Spain,a very exhausted group of travellers arrived at the Quinta which would be our new home.

We were very pleased to have received a confirmation mail from the KC to notify us that “Asterel” has qualified for the Breeders` Finals which are being held at Crufts on Thursday 5th March. As this is the last time this competition is being held, we are very pleased to be able to promote the breed & our breeding once again in this competition final. We have been very privileged to have partaken in several of the finals in the past, below is a pic from a previous year.

We are pleased to say that the Asterel gang have had a very good 2014 so far. We are very proud of all the “Asterel” dogs whom have won Best Of Breed at the Ch shows so far.  Our new Import Drika Da Costa Oeste At Asterel has had a lovely start to her UK show career and at the half way stage, she is in the lead for Uk Dog World Top Estrela 2014.

We are very excited to announce that Asterel Deeago was Best Dog & Best In Show under Steve Bennett,Carol Ogborn received Best Bitch & Res Best In Show with Deeago`s half sister, Asterel Cracklin` Rose (Orla). Carol was also awarded Res Best Dog with Asterel Bronson (Merlin).To top of a great day for the Asterel kennel, Asterel Loura was awarded Best Veteran In Show. Thankyou to the judge and the other owners of Asterel dogs.
